Fresh Start & Small Steps

There is a lot I am currently working on so I thought why not create a substack to share with all of you! I recently started doing mini goals for Monday, just three small goals I want to accomplish during the week. I have accommplished mostly two to three of them and it helps with any majority pressure I am feeling. There is no rush, no pressure and if I don’t do something I just save it for the following week! I am currently hoping on the trend of personal fall curriculum.
If you don’t know, it’s basically a curriculum you design on what you want to learn and accomplish for the month or for the season. If you guys want I can share that for a separate post. But I am obsessed with the idea of just constantly learning and working on yourself.
I wanted my first post to be open and transparent which is what you will get with me for sure. So since today is Monday, here are my three goals for the week.
1st goal: Paying off my Credit Card and working on my debt! This is something I am actively working on as a 28 year old that lives with her parents. Tomorrow Ariana Grande tickets drop, once that is purchased, I need to reevaluate my budget and everything so that is my goal for the week. I lucky get paid weekly so that definitely helps me tremendously.
It also helps that I have a separate tik tok focused on this and follow so many amazing people on the same journey as me. Who either have more debt or less debt than me so makes me feel less alone in this journey.
2nd goal: Start reading Serpent & The Wings of Night.
I am a massive reader which you will come to learn. My yearly goal for the year is 35 books, this will currently be my 25th. Finish my reading goal for the year is one of my courses for my personal fall curriculum. I used to love reading as a kid and kind of fell out of it and picked it up in 2022 after I lost someone really close to me. I think it helped me massively with my mental health.
3rd goal: Walk more!! I have been on a weight loss journey since March of this year and I have been truly slacking. My doctor wants me to walk more then 2K steps, seems easy right? I did it before and fell off of it for bit. So now I really just want to get back into it. Another course I gave myself is fitness, so this works out perfectly.

Oh wow we have very similar goals! I am also living with my parents trying to budget better and I just finished my 25th book this year! I’m now in a slump and my screen time has been really bad so I’m trying to find something to read that I actually enjoy. My last goal is just to write more! Also let me know if you want any fitness tips I’ve been going to the gym consistently since last June and have met my goals there so now I’m just keeping up with my conditioning! 🩷
